Artist Bio Originally from Venezuela, Saida Markovic attended the Cristoval Rojas School of Fine Arts, where she received her training from European masters of fine art. After immigrating to the United States, she studied with David White at the Boston School of Fine Art and continued to develop her skills as a fine art restorer along with creating original portraits and paintings on glass. "As a child, I wanted to become an artist. When I was seven years old, my sister gave me a set of oil paints, and I would wake up at night and start painting. I had a passion for art then, and that passion has grown even greater since I started painting on my own and lovingly restoring art for other people." Saida's original artwork is rich and inviting, and her restoration work is flawless, breathing new life into aged or damaged work while staying true to the original artist's hand.
